A small plant barely 4" tall w/narrow sharply pointed dull leaves that are speckled w/brown - the branched spike is yellow and red-orange w/flowers spiraling about the scape - Bromeliad Treasury said, "A 10" reflexed rosette of 1" x 7" medium green leaves tapering to a point - in 50% shade the leaves will blush red - the 12" scape is topped by an inflorescence w/red bracts and yellow flowers".
