cv. of platynema v. variegata X fosteriana v. seideliana ('Rubra #2') - Shiigi said, "Medium to large plant to 34" across and 32" tall - to 44" when in bloom - the plant combines the tesselated quality of the parents in green patterning within the leaves - flushes pink in the newer central growth and has darker toned areas near the apiculate leaf tips in the fashion of the platynema parent" - This cultivar has been used in many hybrids by the hybridizer since its original development.
