Mature, large, open rosette to 70cm. diameter. Arching, broad ( to 8cm. wide) mid-green leaves with wavy, darker green cross-banding on the obverse, sometimes tinted bronze in strong light. The foliage reverse has darker, reddish mahogany cross-banding, moreso in shade. Erect simple spike to 1.6 metres tall. Named to honour the registrant's husband Len Trevor as co-worker at the Olive Branch Bromeliad nursery, Brisbane Australia where this cultivar was raised to maturity, having been imported as a seedling under formula by Queensland friend Pat Coutts in 1988, especially from the breeder..
