VRIESEA ‘Blade Runner’ Maloy, Andrew / Adam Bodzioch* 2013

Mature, large, open rosette to 80cm. diameter x 40cm. high. In strong light, arching, broad (to 7.5cm. wide) lime green-based leaves, heavily overlaid with smoky olive green squiggly cross-banding, fine green longitudinal lines and flushed pink on inner growth. Sepia red leaf tips and foliage reverse is tinted blackish red. Glyph Group. Seed bred in New Zealand of unknown parentage, but seed-raised by the registrant / namer in Adelaide, South Australia.
