Mature, ball-shaped rosette to 15 cm. diameter. Many narrow, stiff, silvery grey, recurved leaves to 20 cm stretched. Erect or leaning compact inflorescence resemblles T. stricta with creamy white petals and faintly greenish floral bracts in semi-shade, though some pink suffusion is evident in plants grown in strong light.
