(See 'Gigant') - Thirty to forty leaves in large full rosette - greenish leaves w/rolled under apiculate tips - heavily frosted and marked w/purples, pinks and blacks - largest of the Takemura clones - many color forms exist - Bromeliad Treasury said, "16" extremely compact open rosette of 4" x 10" greenish-plum leaves w/a more intense plum near the center - leaves end in a deep maroon w/indented tips w/an apiculate spine and rolled under edges - fluorescent lavender center at blooming" - See GolinskiVideo1997 for images.
