R.*) <1960 cv. of unknown species from single plant received from Walter Doering (Brazil) in 1960 - developed by DeLeon and Ralph Davis jointly - bloomed in 1967 - sent to Dr. Smith for ID - no definitive answer - said to be schultesiana w/o basis - small red stoloniferous rosette becoming green in lower light - apparently self-sterile - (See F.C.B.S. Newsletter Feb86) - Popular form used in very many hybrids since its development.
