cv. of carolinae 'Meyendorffii' X johannis - Bailey says, "Obtained from Bert Foster in the early 80's - medium sized plant 11" tall x 22" across w/glossy purple 4" wide leaves with fluted edges - some 'bubbling' in the leaves - darker purple spotting distributed over the leaves - consistently attractive".
