NEOREGELIA ‘Goode's Amethyst’ Goode, G. 1974

cv. of pineliana X chlorosticta - (Other cv. = 'Reward') - Goode says, "Typical carolinae hybrid - outer leaves pale green - deep amethyst center". Butcher photo shows open lax leafed rosette of 20+ light green tapered leaves w/red center - very similar to the other pineliana cultivars. Originally in Register as ' Amethyst' but name amended to differentiate from the other 'Amethyst'.
