cv. of olens differing in appearance from olens 'Marie' by being larger with wider leaves - Name said to be Seidel's collection number but this is not verified by Seidel - (See 'Marie', 'Vulcan' & 'Blood Spots') - Bromeliad Treasury said, "A small stoloniferous plant w/offsets on 6" stolons - open vase shaped rosette at maturity 8-10" in diameter w/1-1/2" x 6" light green red tipped leaves heavily peppered w/red spots - becomes crimson w/light green throat peppered w/red speckles in 80% light".
