Mature tubular rosette to 15cms. diameter x 28cms. high. Dark maroon / black leaves heavily mottled hot pink, moreso in the lower portions. Erect spike to 40cms. high with scarlet scape bracts, pale green ovaries, shell pink sepals and light navy blue flowers. Acquired by Anniesam Bromeliads nursery (New South Wales) about 2006 as a small seedling---breeder, parentage and origin are uncertain. Reg. Doc. 8/2015 by Tamera Ison. Country of origin: ?
