Mature upright rosette to 80cms. diameter x 80cms. tall. Variegated, vegetative sport off a clone of Aechmea blanchetiana nicknamed in south-east Florida as "Raspberry" with narrow, upright leaves which get very orange there in bright light (not to be confused with the registered Aechmea 'Raspberry' (aripensis x ?). Bronze green leaves variably striated cream and heavily flushed pink in strong light. Erect, branched spike shorter than the typical Ae. blanchetiana. Reg.
