Mature open large rosette to 84cm. diameter x 48cm. high. New growth starts out glossy green, but in strong light, becomes raspberry red leaves with darker red glyph-like cross-banding. The 10- branched inflorescence to 80cm. high has relatively-narrow vermillion orange "paddles". Seed raised by John Mitchell.
