Mature, bulbous-based rosette to 40 cm. diameter x 32 cm. tall in flower. Green, narrow, channeled, undulating leaves which taper to a point and are scurfed at the base. Upper leaves turn orange to red in flower. Erect, short, tightly-branched, orange to red-bracted inflorescence with tubular, bicolored white to cream and amethyst flowers. Named in honor of breeder's grandfather, a pioneer in orchid culture in Hawaii who greatly influenced the breeder's interest in plants. Reg. Doc. 2/2022. Country of origin: Hawaii USA
