Mature, bulbous-based, upright rosette to 10 cm. diameter x 10 cm. tall in bloom. Recurving, slender, succulent leaves are coated with fine-smooth trichomes and red-and-green foliage colour in strong light the year around. At blooming the foliage turns a grape red shade.
