Mature, small, upright, rosette to 6 cm. high x 7 cm. diameter. Pale green, stiff, heavily scurfed leaves which turn red upon blooming. So covered in "white woolly trichomes" though, that the foliage appears to be pink, except at the leaf tips. Exserted, tubular mauve flowers. Ionantha Group. Reg.
