Mature, upright rosette to 40cm. diameter. Scurfed, silvery grey-green arching / recurving leaves, tapering to a point. Erect, red-stemmed, multi-branched spike of narrow, ellipsoid paddles (up to 12) with coral pink lower bracts and mid-green upper bracts, plus violet tubular flowers.
