Mature open rosette to 55 cm diameter x 18 cm high. The arching, scurfed, grey-green leaves, 30 cm long x 3.5 cm wide, taper to a point. The erect, branched, open inflorescence is 20 cm tall with 9- 18 curved, narrow paddles and frosted salmon orange bracts, fading to light green at the base, each up to 28 cm long plus mauve flowers.
