Mature plant 10 cm. high x 4 cm. diameter. Bulbous-based, straight and very slender rosette, prefers to grow horizontally. Silvery-green, densely scurfed leaves, deeply channeled and upward bended tips. The reddish and somewhat globose inflorescence is shorter than the leaves; the tubular flowers are dark-blue. Reg.
