Mature plant 10 cm high x 9 cm diameter .Caulescent, compact rosette with short, deeply-channeled, recurved, green and smooth leaves. Especially the outer surface is laxly covered with adpressed trichomes. The short-stemmed arching inflorescence bears a thick shell pink-bracted bud with bluish purple flowers.
