Mature, semi-caulescent rosettes, each to10 cm diameter, grow in clusters of many distichous growths The very fine, fluffy leaves are silvery-grey, covered with tiny dense trichomes .Many thin-- sometimes slightly kinked –long peduncles with scaled floral bracts and sepals.
