TILLANDSIA ‘Holm's Mallensis’ Holm B. 1989

Mature, semi-caulescent rosettes, each to10 cm diameter, grow in clusters of many distichous growths The very fine, fluffy leaves are silvery-grey, covered with tiny dense trichomes .Many thin-- sometimes slightly kinked –long peduncles with scaled floral bracts and sepals. Buds are reddish-brown (like bandensis) with lavender flowers (0.5 - 1 cm). Reverse cross bears the same cultivar name. Reg. Doc. 11/2015 by T. Richter.
