Blooming rosette is 50 cms. tall and 30 cms wide. Grey-green arching leaves are succulent with fine trichomes and nerved. Erect inflorescence is brick-red with 5-7 upright branches. Paddles are narrow, 1 cm wide x 8-10 cm long with aster-violet petals. Entire inflorescence appears dusty-red as it is covered with dense trichomes. When blooming the rosette center is faintly red. Natural hybrid from the State of Oaxaca near the type locality of T. schusteri. Reg. Doc, 4/2015 by P Koide Hyatt.
