Tropiflora said, "A curious cross of gurkenii X sucrei growing in the fashion of gurkenii with leaves in a flat rosette pattern - foliage is mahogany colored with a slight sprinkling of silver trichomes - the inflorescence is tall with many clustered green bracts" - Paterson said, "Brown-bronze leaves flecked with silver - white flowers and bronze red bracts in good light".
