cv. of chlorosticta - Luther says, "The plant called 'Marble Throat' is a minor variety of Neoregelia chlorosticta, a good cultivar" - JBS reference below contains lively discussion of the plant and it's origins - very small upright rosette - dull green with creamy-white irregular spotting becoming mostly white areas concentrated in throat of rosette - rose flush in throat - 8 to 12 leaves - base is deep purple-black w/light green spotting.
