NEOREGELIA ‘Lila’ Groves, Grant 1980

Mature open rosette to 50cm. diameter. Variable according to culture and climate. Generally bronze green leaves with lilac tints and a rosy pink centre at blooming. Entered by G. Groves at 1999 BSCF Mother's Day Show. U.S. Plant Patent PP11,523, granted 26th. Sept. 2000. The quoted pollen parents later were reregistered as (Groves Passion x Groves Grace). It seems to produce variegated offsets frequently and the first to be named was N. 'Exotica Lilac Dream'. Reg. Doc. 3/2000.
