NEOREGELIA ‘La Brea’ Vinzant, Lisa. circa 2002

Mature, open, upright rosette to 25cm diameter. Mid-green leaves liberally spotted purple, moreso towards the base, in strong light. Deep purple flowers with white eyes. "La Brea" means "tar pits" in Spanish, referring to this well-known attraction in Los Angeles, California. Reg. Doc. 4/2008.
