Mature, open large rosette to 1 metre diameter. Black-spined, bronzed green brick red leaves, pale silver cross-banding on the obverse with broken red cross-bands on the reverse. The foliage can blacken in very strong light and with minimal feeding. A very wide-leafed form of possibly N. carcharodon or pascoaliana.
