cv. of unknown parentage - Beltz says, "Plant purchased in a florist shop in San Antonio, Texas in 1979 - appears to have carolinae parentage - the leaves begin to color when the pup is three months old - the red coloring may appear anywhere from the leaf tip to the base and doesn't require bright light - resembles 'Blushing Bride' with high leaf gloss".
