Mature tubular rosette to 35cms.tall, flaring at the top. Light pinkish brown leaves heavily splotched white in strong light. Semi-arching inflorescence with mid red scape bracts, cream / green sepals tipped purple and violet flowers. Named in honour of Catherine ("Rena") Wainwright, a late, close friend and well-loved Life Member of the Illawarra Bromeliad Society. Reg. Doc. 7/2016 by N Wood.
