AECHMEA ‘Cracker Night’ Skotak C, Tate K* circa 1989

Mature rosette to 1 metre diameter. Grown by Equatorial Exotics, Cairns for many years as Ae. biflora. When Bruce Dunstan of Greenstock Nursery, Brisbane flowered it, his photo was identified by Harry Luther as a hybrid of Ae. nidularioides. Same cultivar has been in circulation in Australia as Ae. biflora x nidularioides (or reverse). Petals white. Chester Skotak acknowledged it is his cross (July, 2012). Named by and Reg. Doc. 5/2012 by Kerry Tate.
