cv. of a selected clone of fosteriana X selected purple clone of fosteriana v. seideliana - Shiigi said, "Medium arched rosette to 23" across and 24" tall - the simple inflorescence extends the height to 34" - most resembles a lavender-purple 'Red Chestnut' with tesselations in the newer growth arranged in concentric barring and colored in the hot pink-violet family of color - named in memory of Howard Yamamoto, the respected Hawaiian hybridizer.
