cv. of splendens v. splendens X splendens v. major- A selected clone of which Chantrier said, "I have grown specimens attaining nearly five feet in the first flowering - the same plant producing two or three spathes the second year of flowering but w/smaller spathes - The spathe is a splendid red and the flowers are yellow" - Dark banded leaves. .Splendens Group
