Mature, very large, upright rosette to well over 1 metre diameter. Densely stacked, pointed, faintly glyphed, mid-green leaves and purple sheaths. The erect inflorescence stands over 2 metres tall with orange-red scape bracts and many yellow branches with creamy white flowers. Named in honour of the late Harry E Luther, U.S. eminent bromeliad botanist and taxonomist. Reg. Doc. 3/2017 . Country of origin: N.S.W. Australia
