An alleged true johannis imported to AU from California, USA by Butcher in 1982 - Has no apparent link to the species johannis.In 2006 Helga Tarver reported a plant called johannis was being sold in Florida in 1979. Taking cultural differences into consideration it looks very similar to the Californian plant of 1982 - see separate photo
