BILLBERGIA ‘Dennis Cathcart’ Coleman R / Weber B* circa 2011

Mature tubular rosette to 65cm. tall x 20cm. diameter, flaring at the top. Black-spined, green stiff leaves speckled / spotted creamy white, gaining a rosy veneer with age. Some silver cross-banding on the foliage reverse. The short, protruding inflorescence has scarlet red scape bracts, pinkish ovaries, pink sepals tipped blue and blue curling petals. Named in honour of the Tropiflora Nursery founder. Reg. Doc. 1/2016 by Brian Weber.
