cv. of Neoregelia olens '696' X Aechmea aculeatosepala - Frasier says, "Small fast growing plant to 6" across and 6" tall on 2"-3" stolons - foliage is burgundy w/cup turning pink at bloomtime - leaves 1" wide at midpoint, 2" at base and 1/2" at the very blunt tip - flowers pale pink and few - plant most resembles olens".
