TILLANDSIA ‘Rolly's Red’ | Reilly, Rolly / Bob Reilly* | circa 1985 | |
Mature, open large rosette to 60 cm diameter x 40cm tall. At flowering the star-like, capitate inflorescence rises well above the plant's leaves, which flush red. While the parents are unknown, this plant has been discussed at several Btrisbane tillandsia workshops. Taking into account the species which Rolly would have had available to him, the most likely parents appear to be capitata "red form" and flabellata. Reg. Doc. 12/2021 by Bob Reilly. .
