Mature open rosette to 35cm. diameter. Arching, scurfed, silvery grey-green leaves. Erect or angled, branched spike to 30 cm long with 2.5 cm wide ovoid-shaped paddles of pinkish red / yellow floral bracts and tubular purple flowers.
