Mature open large rosette to 75 cm diameter x 30 cm high. The ridge-edged, arching, grey-green scurfed leaves, 40 cm long x 2 cm wide, taper to a point and are bronzed above. The erect, frosted, branched, salmon pink inflorescence is 30 cm tall with 7-9 tightly-formed paddles with yellow markings, each to 7 cm long with purple flowers.
