Mature open rosette to 40 cm diameter x 33 cm high. The curving, scurfed grey-green leaves, which can develop a purple cast in strong light, are 26 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, tapering to a point. The erect salmon-bracted inflorescence, 40 cm tall, has 12 salmon and yellow branch spikes, each 6 cm long, which produce purple flowers. Reg. Doc. 1/2017 by Sue Styer..
