Mature, large rosette to 50cm. diameter x 75cm. high in bloom. Arching, scurfed, silvery grey-green, channelled leaves. Erect, red -branched spike to 60cm. high, with at least 12 clustered, curved paddles, each shell pink to orange and 20cm. long x 2 cm. wide. Obvious feature is the way the inflorescence bracts are arranged in upward spiral. ( Not fasciculated pattern like it's siblings). Grex siblings = T.
