Mature rosette to 40cm. diameter. Many grass green, narrow outspreading, channeled leaves, tapering to a point. The multi-branched inflorescence is erect when developing but becomes semi-pendant from the heavy, segmented, shell-pink floral bracts laden with lavender flowers.
