Mature open rosette to 60 cm diameter x 66 cm high. The scurfed, recurving, grey-green leaves, lineated on the top, are 34 cm long x 3.5 cm wide each, tapering to a point. Branched, curving inflorescence to 47 cm long has salmon pink bracts on the bottom two-thirds and green on the top one-third (side branches to 21 cm long) with purple flowers.
