|TILLANDSIA ‘Navina’||Correale, Steve||2000|
Mature rosette to 30 cm high x 38 cm diameter. Grey-green, heavily-scurfed leaves are 28 cm long and 2.5 cm wide. This is a vegetative sport from the natural hybrid T. x correalei (fasciculata x hondurensis) and each rosette has simultaneously 2 rose pink-bracted spikes from the centre, conjoined like siamese twins at their base, each 18 cm long with no flowers produced. So far it has been stable through two "bloom" cycles. Named in memory of the breeder's mother. (See also T. 'Green Genie') Reg. Doc. 11/2015 by Sue Styer.
