TILLANDSIA ‘Yacuiba’ | Larson C* | n/a
A plant being grown in Australia which was found on the Argentinian side of the Bolivian border approximately 10km south-west of Yacuiba, Bolivia in 1996. In 2010 it was thought to be the newly described T. pardoi Gouda which is only known from Venezuela and the Caribbean. Investigations show this is more closely related to T. tenuifolia var. vaginata but because of its similarity to T. pardoi it was considered advisable to give it a cultivar name. Plant to 10cms diameter. Reg Doc 2/2012 Country of origin: Victoria, Australia
