NEOREGELIA ‘Hawaiian Cloud Nine’ Peterson, Sharon / Cheryl Basic* circa 1998

Mature, open, largish rosette to 60cm. diameter. In strong light, broad, arching, glossy, bronze green leaves marginated white and flushed pink. Dark red random cross-banding / spotting suggests N. concentrica is in its parentage. Central nest blushes cerise pink at flowering. Exported as seedlings from the breeder to Wildfire Garden Nursery, Queensland. Originally named and released as N. 'Cloud Nine', but a different registered cultivar has priority to that cultivar name. Tricolor Group. Reg. Doc. 1/2021 by Geoff Lawn
