Mature open rosette to 60cm. diameter x 25cm. high. In strong light, broad, stiff, brown-spined, tanned pink to ruby red leaves with pale silver-scurfed cross-banding, more pronounced on the foliage reverse. Compound, recessed inflorescence with lilac flowers.Of unknown origin but known to have been sold for over 15 years in Queensland, Australia, in error as N. "zonata, large form".
