Folia sicut in B. saundersii picta eodemque modo ac ibi formata; flores conspicue pedicellati; petala pulcherrime violacea hanc indicant: at vero B. decoram: inflorescentia pendula; petala revolute; folia undulate – B. Leopoldi Cat. Brom. Lugd. –Bat. 1894, p. 11, non Morr. (V. v. in hort. Lugd. –Bat.) Translated by Butcher B. decora x Saundersii. Leaves just as in B. saundersii coloured and in shape; flowers conspicuously pedicellate; revealing petals a very beautiful violet: yet clearly from B. decora: inflorescence pendulous; petals revolute; leaves undulate – B.
