Mead' x Neoregelia tricolor) X amoena v. carnea - The Neoregelia portion of this cross apparently did not take resulting in a plant that appears to be primarily elegans (amoena v. carnea) w/some variability from the cross w/'T.L. Mead' - 10"-12" grey-green scurfy tube blushing reddish in strong light - pendent inflorescence of elegans appearance w/yellow to peach-orange bracts.
