Seven to nine arching leaves form a 20 to 25 cm tall plant. Leaves are 4 cm wide with many small spines that produce a thin dark purple edging. Foliage background is white with sparse bronzed pink mottling. The dull red, upright bloom stalk rises to 10 cm tall.. Ovaries are green, calyx pink tipped blue, and the scape bracts are red.
